Negishi Ryu Apprenticeships for Seasoned Professionals

The international headquarters of Negishi Ryu Shuriken-jutsu, a Japan-based classical warrior tradition, established during the Tokugawa period, is now offering apprenticeship opportunities to selected overseas applicants. Dedicated training can eventually lead to both official koryu licensing and international branch-dojo establishment.

The ideal candidate will be conversant with Japan, its customs and its culture. While no previous experience in shuriken throwing is required, candidates must represent the highest level of integrity, with a sound background in Japanese martial arts and/or cultural traditions. Applicants must be willing to undertake periodical training in Japan, striving to absorb not only technique, but also the rich culture & philosophy behind these warrior arts.

Today, Negishi Ryu is recognized as Japan's last surviving specialist school of koryu shuriken-jutsu, and is designated as an important cultural asset. A true Samurai warrior tradition. Handed down in modern times by the late Soke, Saito Satoshi, who received his education from legends such as Naruse Kanji & Fujita Seiko.

We welcome men & woman who share a passion for quality, striving to uphold the virtues of traditional martial arts.
