Negishi Ryu Apprenticeships for Seasoned Professionals

The international headquarters of Negishi Ryu Shuriken-jutsu, a Japan-based kobudo organization, is now offering apprenticeship opportunities to overseas applicants. Dedicated training can eventually lead to both official koryu licensing and international branch-dojo establishment.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with the highest level of integrity. While no previous experience in shuriken throwing is required, candidates should have a background in either traditional Japanese martial arts, Japanese cultural arts and/or other relevant skills or knowledge. Applicants must be willing to undertake periodical training in Japan, in an effort to absorb not only technique, but also the rich culture & philosophy behind these warrior traditions.

Today, Negishi Ryu is recognized as Japan's last surviving specialist school of authentic "koryu" shuriken-jutsu, and designated as an important cultural asset. A true Samurai warrior tradition. Handed down in modern times by the late Soke, Saito Satoshi, who received his education from legends such as Naruse Kanji & Fujita Seiko.

We welcome men & woman who share a passion for quality, striving to uphold the virtues of traditional martial arts.
